It's the look that gets a human to do (almost) anything!

This original colored pencil drawing is rendered on D'Arches 100% cotton rag paper and measures 7"x9" with an image size of 5"x7". It is double-matted and framed to 10"x12" using archival materials and a simple but elegant black mat-finished wooden frame.

Pearls and diamonds are the tradional and contemporary gifts for celebrating a 30th anniversary. "Pearls and Diamonds" is the piece I created to commemorate the 30th Annual National Capital Cat Show and to honor the "Top Cats" who started it!

The limited edition (250) reproduction is printed on Osprey cotton paper with fade resistant inks. It measures 12" x 17" (image size 8 3/4" x 13 1/2") with hand deckled edges. It is hand numbered and signed by the Artist and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.

The original drawing (paper size 13" x 17"; 8 3/4" x 13 1/2" image)is composed of layers of colored pencil and incised lines on D'Arches 100% rag paper. It is currently triple- matted and framed to 16" x 20". Price: $2300

This spring, I surprised myself by buying 2 six-packs of pansies to plant in flower pots in which my cat used to sun herself. As I watched these flowers bloom, I was reminded of her, and all the big-eyed, flat feline faces who have enchanted me through the years (Shayna" included...)

People often ask me where I come up with my ideas. Well, this one came from all you cat-lovers who wanted me to draw a black Persian cat with golden eyes! The whiskers, ear tufts, and coat came from some lovely Persians who taught me the meaning of "stylin'"!

"It's All About the Hair" is limited to a giclee edition of 350. Each print is hand-signed and numbered by the Artist and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. It is printed on 100% cotton paper with fade resistant inks. The print measures 13" x 14 1/2".
